Triple X Sprint Car Chassis - AUS-TAF

The Triple X "AUS-TAF" Sprint Car Chassis is designed with the exact same geometry as the WEDGE chassis, but has extended head clearance for taller drivers.

The AUS-TAF design originated in 2018 for the Australian market given they have stringent head clearance rules (minimum of 2"). This cage design meets those rules for every height of driver, as it is 2" taller at the front of the cockpit, and 3" taller at the back of the cockpit (over a standard height chassis). This gives additional head room of about 1 1/2" over the WEDGE chassis (and 2 1/2" over a standard height chassis). 

Given the immediate success of the chassis in Australia, we introduced a limited amount to the US market as an alternative for very tall drivers. The chassis was fast right out of the box, and demand rose even from normal height drivers. So, in 2020 we added this chassis to our stable as a stock offering.

The AUS-TAF chassis is available in 87" or 88" length, with a 40" set back. World Of Outlaw compliant left safety cage and right safety bar come standard in all chassis at no additional cost to you.  Torque tube hoop also provided free of charge with chassis purchase.
